Babolat Counter Viper 2022

The Babolat Counter Viper 2022 is part of the new "Viper" series from Babolat. Counter Viper suits the patient player who defends well and who, through patient play, manages to get the obvious chance before the rally is over.

The racket aims to be in control to withstand a strong defense, yet with the power to hit the decisive smash. The special "round" shape of the racket is newly developed and comes close to the traditional round shape which means that the sweet spot is located in the middle of the racket. The X-Eva technology provides a softer inner core/foam that absorbs the worst vibrations, making the racket softer for the arm. The weight of the racket is 365 grams with a balance of 27 cm, this brings the weight light towards the handle/grip.

The grip of the racket itself seems a bit longer, which makes the racket suitable for players who hit the backhand with 2 hands. The new Viper series is based on the following features: Explosive power - The combination of X-Eva foam (newly developed 3-layer foam) and carbon surface provides a lot of striking power. 3D spin - a ripple pattern on the surface with a matte finish, which provides good ball control and spin power.
